The staff were helpful and courteous.
When we first walked in, there was entertainment in the lobby. That was a delight to see so many residents enjoying the music and singing along to "Sweet Caroline".
A staff person also refrigerated the dessert we brought for Velma, and labelled the plate. That was very thoughtful!

My mother and I attended a tour conducted by Joanne Hernandez. We were both thoroughly impressed with Joanne's knowledge of the facility and residents. We have attended a few tours and always have so many questions. We had no questions after our tour with Joanne! She has the ability to anticipate the needs of her audience, is caring, and radiates positive energy! We left the tour fully informed of the facility and felt the culture at the village of Humber Heights is exactly what our loved one needs.

I have nothing but praise for this exceptional long-term care home. The care and patience the staff showed toward my mother were truly a blessing I will always treasure. It’s evident that the caregivers are deeply passionate about their work, and their dedication shines through in everything they do. The Islington Floor staff became like a second family to my mother. Whenever I had a question, they never hesitated to pause what they were doing to assist me. Truly impressive!

My Mother was a resident at Humber Heights in different areas for almost 17 years. She had excellent care from all staff and was very well looked after. I would recommend this home highly.

My dad is a resident of this wonderful home. I have nothing but amazing things to say and am blessed he is in such a loving and caring home. Making the decision to put them in a home is always hard. He has advanced Alzheimer’s and the staff at Alderwood floor has taken my dad in like family. They're amazing. Every time I see him—almost daily—he is always clean and smells good and (most important) well taken care off. I can honestly say all staff in the village are wonderful and friendly.

Every time I come to the town square there're always groups of people here and there. I never knew a retirement home could be this lively.
