My mother has been living at Queen’s Estate for the past 1.5 years and was recently accepted at long-term care. She is 80 years old, has dementia and is exit-seeking. The staff have been really great here. They have been professional and have communicated very well about my mother’s needs. You can see that the ladies who took care of my mother really cared about her. I felt that my mother was safe in this place, and I would recommend it for anyone with an elderly parent who needs extra care and attention.

Moving my mom from her longtime home to a memory care retirement community was an emotional transition. After visiting a few other places, Queens Estate immediately felt right. From day one, Agnes, Sharon, Ivie, and the entire staff treated my mom with kindness, patience, and respect.
While adjusting to her new home came with challenges, seeing how the staff treat her like family has been truly heartwarming. The consistent care and thoughtful updates have given me peace of mind as she settles in, becomes more comfortable, and stays engaged with activities that keep her mind active.

Three weeks ago, my Dad entered a new phase of his life and began a grand adventure at the Queen's Estate Retirement Residence.
The care, compassion, professionalism, and patience that my Dad and I have received have been nothing short of PHENOMENAL! Every aspect of my Dad's care has been handled with thoughtfulness, respect, and grace and my Dad has settled in and expressed great satisfaction and happiness in his new surroundings.
Although my Dad does not partake in the social aspect of residence life due to mobility issues, I can see other residents joyfully partaking in the many activities that are offered.
Agnes, Sharon, Melissa, Flavia, and all Queens Estate staff are exemplary people and in particular, I would like to thank Vivian, whom I call my Dad's earth angel. There are so many others that look after my Dad that I haven't met in person, but just knowing that they are there for him fills me with a great sense of gratitude and peace. And I see the peace and gratitude in my Dad as well. Thank you all!

My mom is very happy at Queen’s Estate. It was a huge transition for our family as my parents were married for 77 years when my dad passed and we needed to place mom in a memory care home. I was so pleased when I saw my mom dance again, and enjoy music and social activities with friends. I love that the staff cares a great deal for the well-being of my mom, a special thank you to Agnes, Flavia, Donna, Melissa, Lavinia, and all the great caregivers there.

My mother resides at Queens Estate on the Memory floor. She moved in last year and I visit her there weekly. The adjustment was challenging for all of us but we as a family are very pleased with the level of care she receives at the residence. The staff is excellent and is led by Agnes, who shows her staff by example just what going the extra mile looks like. The main floor is always bright and changing with new themes and the activity calendar is packed with interesting and creative activities for everyone to enjoy. I'm very happy with the amount of love and the family-style atmosphere they have created at Queens Estate. I would highly recommend considering this retirement home for your loved one.

It has been just over one week since my father-in-law moved into Queens Estate. The staff are friendly, caring and very helpful. They have gone above and beyond to make sure all his needs are being met. We are very fortunate to have them for this next journey of his life.

I moved my dad there a few months ago, and I'm so glad I did! The staff are amazing! I can't stress that enough. They all know him by name and treat him so well. There's always activities and events going on. I feel safe knowing he's there and taken care of. The building itself is lovely, modern and bright. The suites are perfect size and also look great.

My aunt has been at Queens Estate since the early days when it first opened. I was recently visiting and loved the positive energy and vibe. Lots of activities going on for the residents to enjoy including dog and cat therapy which she loves. The staff is excellent and very attentive. The outside grounds are such a nice feature for the residents to enjoy. Thank you to Agnes, Bindi, Melissa, Donna and all the wonderful staff at Queens Estate for taking such great care of our loved ones!

I highly recommend Queen's Estates in every respect. Sharon, one of their community relationship specialists, went above and beyond to assist us in navigating the healthcare system to have our mother admitted on extremely short notice when hospital staff were not communicating with us. All their care staff, especially care managers Bindi and Melissa, have been extremely accommodating, caring, and responsive as my mom transitioned to her new home. They arrange for medication and coordinate closely with government agencies to provide care, and all their PSWs are friendly and trained in dealing with people who have memory challenges. The facility itself is absolutely wonderful - it feels like a home, not at all like an institution - for example, their dining area feels like a restaurant, not like a cafeteria. They have many daily activities including music, exercise, gardening, coloring, etc.. and even movies in their movie theater. They are also pet-friendly! We can bring our dog to visit, and they have therapy animals visit the residents. There is a hair salon on-site, and regular foot care. They customize care and attention to the needs and preferences of each resident. The overall vibe is warm and welcoming. You really can't ask for better for your loved one.

My mother has lived on the memory care floor at Queens Estate for nine months and is very well taken care of every day. The staff are kind and friendly and everyone from the PSWs who care for her to the chef in the kitchen know my mother and treat her with kindness and respect. Queens Estate was wonderful about procuring the covid vaccine and boosters in a timely fashion and maintains excellent hygiene to protect the health of all its residents. Most importantly, since moving in, my mother has been calm and content. There are many activities including art and music which she enjoys very much. Our family would strongly recommend Queen's Estate.

My mom started living again at 93 when she went to Queens Estate. She is constantly dancing and singing. She loves the food and the staff are so patient and accommodating. It takes a lot of pressure off me when I saw how happy she is. She's making new friends as well as becoming acquainted with old friends. I would definitely recommend Queens Estate to anyone.

My Father was a resident for 2 months while waiting for a Long Term Care placement. During my father's stay he was treated with compassion and kindness. I would personally like to thank Michelle, Ashley, Nico, Synthiya, Sarah, Tenzin, Jigme and the PSW's for always being supportive and helpful. My mom has been with Queen’s Estate for six months. Her move there happened quickly after a hospital stay and she was welcomed with open arms. She needs a lot of care and her every need is met or exceeded. Sarah, Jigme, Temi, Vivian, Tenzin and Amy, among many others are warm, kind and generous and provide detailed person dare down to musical preferences, manicures and specialized personal care. I was hesitant to leave her there as I am sure everyone is and she was warmly embraced and cared for from day one.

My mom has been at Queens Estate for only a few weeks, she is waiting for a spot at a LTC. I wish she could stay where she is! The room is wonderful, the food is great, and the staff are lovely! She adores the staff, and they adore her! She's finally happy!!!! The highlight of her day is seeing Debra, she loves all activities, and looks forward everyday to be a part of the afternoon programs.

My mother was at Queens Estate for nearly two years (she was one of the first to move in after their opening). Staff were fabulous/angels. Adam, Tenzin and Vivian were particularly helpful though there were many others that should be recognized (I don't recall all of their names). Residents who had moved in from other retirement homes said that Queens Estate was an improvement for them. We used a consultant during our search for a home. The staff try really hard to come up with interesting activities to get the residents involved even during lockdown. You can see photos of this on the FB page. The blended model of support that respects the needs of residents is very helpful.

Our father was a resident for 2 months while waiting for a placement in Long Term Care. Even though it was understood that Dad was only there temporarily, the staff went out of their way to ensure he was well supported, had a detailed care plan in place, and had his daily needs met. The staff are amazingly helpful, responsive to our questions and queries, and really patient with Dad. They are amazing! The building is also very pleasant - freshly renovated and furnished - with attention to details tied to the well-being of residents. When Dad left, the staff all gathered to say goodbye and wish him well. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
