Riverwalk is a truly welcoming community with kind and caring staff who are dedicated to serving the residents to the very best of their ability. From the moment you walk into the main lobby, it feels more like a beautifully designed and decorated hotel than a retirement residence. The attention to detail in the décor creates a warm, elegant atmosphere. The suites are especially lovely, with large windows that allow plenty of natural light to fill the space, making them feel bright and open.

Working with Crystal and her team at Riverwalk Retirement Residence in a professional capacity has been an absolute pleasure. During my time on-site, I sampled the delicious menu and spoke with several genuinely happy residents. The sense of community and care is unmistakable. I can say without hesitation that Riverwalk should be a “must‑see” for anyone searching for the best‑fit retirement residence.

It is never an easy task finding the right place for a loved one, but right from the start, I have been beyond impressed with Riverwalk Retirement Residence. I was connected with Crystal and provided a tour of what can only be described as a luxury hotel. There are so many wonderful activities, and the food is amazing! A few weeks ago, I moved my mom into her beautiful suite in secure memory care, and now I have peace of mind knowing that she is safe and well cared for in a beautiful environment. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. I want to say a special thanks to Crystal. You have made this such an easy transition for me and provided me with the confidence knowing that I’ve made the right choice. You are incredibly compassionate, and it shows in everything you do. Thank you so much the Riverwalk team for making a new home for my mom!

From day one of our journey in finding assisted living, following a long hospital stay, we knew Verve Aspen Woods was the perfect choice for our mom, and they have far exceeded our expectations. From when you first walk in the front door and are greeted by the wonderful concierge/receptionist who is friendly and helpful, knowing everyone by name, to the wellness and nursing team in assisted living with nothing but compassion and professionalism, we always feel welcome and part of the community. Joyce, Bianca, JP, and their teams made the transition for mom much easier than expected and did it on very short notice. It has now been over one year, and Mom is enjoying this chapter of life. What is most important to us is the nursing care that she receives. They are an extraordinary team. Mom is taken to various activities, which she thoroughly enjoys. The meals are of a high calibre, healthy, wide variety, and delicious. I have enjoyed meals with mom in the dining room a few times and enjoyed the dining experience each time. Having a physician in-house one afternoon each week for scheduled appointments is very important and appreciated. He is very attentive and understanding of geriatric needs. Thank you to everyone at Verve Aspen Woods for all that you do!

My Dad has been a resident at Verve Aspen Woods since May, 2025. As with any senior who previously lived independently, there was an adjustment. Since the day he moved in, the staff has been very caring and attentive. They really go out of their way to get to know the residents and make them feel comfortable. The few times he's required additional support, the Front Desk and Nursing Staff did an excellent job managing his care. The on-site activities keep him busy and engaged. He especially enjoys the live entertainment and the evening movies. Our Family would highly recommend Verve Aspen Woods.

I came back from a five-week vacation to my Verve Aspen Woods residency, and I feel like I came home. The staff is friendly and excellent, the servers are helpful and friendly, residents are also friendly and nice. I enjoy my stay here. We are well taken care of.

I have only positive things to say about this place, from the activities each and every week to the Management to the staff to the Facilities. Essentially, this is a five-star hotel inspired for seniors, very attentive to all needs, and a positive atmosphere flows throughout the halls here. Dining is very good, and there is no shortage of stuff to do, including activities that build and keep the latter years dignified. Well done, Verve, and glad that my parents are in your care!

My mother has been a resident at Verve Aspen Woods for three years now, and she is very happy there. After a brief 3-week respite stay, she decided to move there permanently, and she and we, her family, have never looked back. Joyce in particular, made the registration and move-in process a breeze. Mom enjoys the many activities put on by the friendly and energetic staff and finds meal times an enjoyable social event. She finds the meals excellent and healthy. I can vouch for the quality of the meals as well, since I have eaten in the dining room many times. One thing my mom and my family really appreciate is the private kitchen and dining room that can be reserved for family celebrations. We have done this many times. You can bring in your own meals or have it catered and served by the staff just like in a restaurant. My mom's room is spacious and well-cleaned by the staff daily. I really can't say enough good things about Verve Aspen Woods. I recommend it highly, and I know Mom does too.

We offer up to 3 nights complimentary trial stays for people wishing to sample life in a retirement residence.
80% of our suites are Independent Living while the other 20% are Assisted Living suites — a vibrant mix of independent residents, from couples to single residents.
Truly all-inclusive living – our resident’s only extra costs are their personal telephone and indoor heated parking.
Supportive and Care services are available as residents age – we can bring scheduled care to Independent Living suites to help those residents maintain their independence.
We offer short term respite care suites for individuals needing post hospital care or require support when their regular caregiver is out of town.
