The amenities here speak to that, with social activities and sharing in food and drink leading the way.

The activity calendar is filled with everything from movies to lawn bowling to walking clubs to Tai Chi to Sunday worship time to meditation. As people say here, “There’s something to do every day!” There are also trips to Toronto attractions like museums, galleries, theatres, and other entertainment. In-house TED Talks and discussion groups feature speakers on topics like health, education, technology, and politics. You can also expect live entertainment from musicians and other entertainers. Meet Me at the MoMA is a favourite among seniors. You can also join in a game of cards (there are clubs for Euchre, Bridge, and Rummy) and make new friends that way. And for all that, your suite is a calm respite where you simply have your own space.

As General Manager for Don Mills Retirement Residence, Stuart is leading his incredible dedicated team who are all passionate about providing a memorable experience for all residents. Stuart also ensures all associates at Don Mills have a positive fun professional environment to grow their careers.

Stuart’s goal is for Don Mills to be the home of choice in the industry. Stuart has many years of Luxury Hotel/Resort experience working with several well-known hotel brands. Prior to Stuart joining Verve he held the title of Vice President Hotel Operations & Corporate Human Resources for a privately owned Hotel & Oil company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Stuart has lived in Toronto before and has now returned to join our team and to be closer to his family who reside in London, Ontario.

In his free time, Stuart and his partner enjoy travelling the world experiencing the finer things in life.

When you meet Stuart for the first time you will see from his energy, enthusiasm, leadership and overall charisma how he will be a well received member of our Verve team.
