My wife had a medical crisis that required we sell the house and move to a retirement home. She chose Don Mills, which was a marvellous choice. No words can tell how organized, clean, and cheerful it is. She had a really pleasant recovery! And that led to her being really well. I thank everyone there for such a wonderful facility, thanks to Stue, Ewa, Robert, Nethu, and all the staff who were unbelievably pleasant and cooperative.

I joined my friend on a tour and was not planning to think about it for myself, but changed my mind totally! It's a beautiful, new, clean spacious facility. Robert was very informative. Now, I just joined and am looking forward to gain my life again, living there. No cooking, no cleaning, no responsibility, just being pampered at the residence.

The professionalism, enthusiasm and sincerity of the team made my mom & dad feel supported and valued. My parents were hesitant about moving to a retirement residence, but meeting the team was a real turning point for them; now they are excited to experience all the wonderful services and amenities that their new lifestyle will offer them. Take a look at Don Mills Retirement Residence! You won't be disappointed!!! We visited here as the first in a search for possible homes to consider when it is time for us to make a move. Ewa Ilijeska (Community Relations Manager) was our hostess. Honestly, after visiting this residence, we could easily say, "why look anywhere else?" - although Ewa encouraged us to. These were our first impressions ... - a well-run facility - the building: new, 10 foot ceilings, large windows - the atmosphere: bright, open - the staff: lots of courteous staff - who all acknowledged us as we passed - the delicious lunch: healthy, attractive, lots of choice, very open dining room, attentive servers - services and activities: a very complete list offered - communication (prior to/post visit): excellent. Thanks to Ewa for a delightful experience!

When looking for a retirement home for my father, I had heard nothing but good things from neighbours and others in the community about the Briton House. Our own experience was very positive with very caring staff who would go above and beyond to support my father's needs. Staff turnover was low allowing team members to get to know my dad (and family members like myself). Excellent slate of activities for residents in the independent living floors. Very clean and rigorously maintained building facilities.

I'm so thankful for the Briton House staff. The PSWs, nurses, and recreational therapist on the memory care unit care for residents with genuine warmth, patience, and kindness. The admin, management, and wellness teams communicate with clarity and sensitivity, which is of paramount importance during challenging times. The facilities are thoughtfully designed for seniors, with the beautiful sunlit atrium as the highlight. Thank you for warmly welcoming my dad into your community.

My story begins with panic. I had one month to move my 94 year old mom to a retirement home close to me at Yonge and Eglinton. I phoned every one in the area. The only one that understood my pain was Jared, Marketing manager at the Briton House. Immediately, we had a meeting. The care and compassion was outstanding. I signed on the dotted line he and his staff had a beautiful suite ready for mom... My mom is so happy thanks to everyone at the Briton House.

I researched many retirement homes in Toronto, and Briton House stood out for many reasons. Family owned and operated, an excellent reputation, positive referrals and reasonable pricing put Briton House on the short list. It was quick and easy to book a tour and we were impressed with the comfortable hotel-like atmosphere, relaxing atrium and amenities. Once my loved one moved in, the caring and competent staff provided an environment where she was able to enjoy regular meals, be supported with personal care and flourish, becoming the happy, social person she was before being diagnosed with dementia. You can trust that residents are well cared for, safe and living their best life.

My mom moved here a month ago, it is fantastic. Beautiful facilities, great activities and food and the management and nursing staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
