Riverwalk is a truly welcoming community with kind and caring staff who are dedicated to serving the residents to the very best of their ability. From the moment you walk into the main lobby, it feels more like a beautifully designed and decorated hotel than a retirement residence. The attention to detail in the décor creates a warm, elegant atmosphere. The suites are especially lovely, with large windows that allow plenty of natural light to fill the space, making them feel bright and open.

Working with Crystal and her team at Riverwalk Retirement Residence in a professional capacity has been an absolute pleasure. During my time on-site, I sampled the delicious menu and spoke with several genuinely happy residents. The sense of community and care is unmistakable. It is never an easy task finding the right place for a loved one, but right from the start, I have been beyond impressed with Riverwalk Retirement Residence. I was connected with Crystal and provided a tour of what can only be described as a luxury hotel. There are so many wonderful activities, and the food is amazing!
A few weeks ago, I moved my mom into her beautiful suite in secure memory care, and now I have peace of mind knowing that she is safe and well cared for in a beautiful environment.
The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. I want to say a special thanks to Crystal. You have made this such an easy transition for me and provided me with the confidence knowing that I’ve made the right choice. You are incredibly compassionate, and it shows in everything you do.

I met Crystal at an event they were hosting, and she gave me a tour. She was amazing!! It makes me want to move in when the time comes. The Riverwalk has everything a person would want. It’s like being at a resort. Five stars for sure!

I was recently given a tour of Riverwalk and was so impressed with everything.
Every room has a stunning view of the city, the staff are enthusiastic about their work and service. The residents have all the conveniences right there, from a gym, salon or a chapel, and much more. My tour guide Crystal, is very much proud to be a part of this caring team, and it shows when she stops to connect with any resident passing by. This is a place that knows how to make you feel welcomed and at home.

I just finished a 9-month stay at Riverwalk. It's a wonderful place for respite or a permanent place to live. The building is beautiful, worthy of a 5-star hotel. Our suite was fantastic, looking out over the Calgary skyline. At night, it was a spectacular view. Lots of entertainment.
The staff were wonderful and special kudos to Crystal, Dounia, Janelle, Lucy, Greg, Wade, and others who made my recovery a pleasure. I highly recommend it.
The location is awesome, so many restaurants and shops to keep you busy. The walk along the Elbow River is very peaceful and refreshing. All in all, Riverwalk was a great experience.

I toured for my dad and loved it! The community is beautiful and welcoming. Crystal was amazing. So helpful, kind, and easy to talk to. The homemade blueberry treat made by the chef to take away after our tour was absolutely delicious!

I had the pleasure of touring Riverwalk Retirement Residence with Crystal on Saturday, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted by the concierge, we felt genuinely welcomed. The building is absolutely beautiful—really well kept, with unique architecture, lovely artwork throughout, and some seriously amazing views that make the whole place feel peaceful.
Crystal was incredibly knowledgeable, clear in her explanations, and took the time to walk us through the entire process with patience and care. We’re currently in the decision-making stage regarding memory care for my father, and Crystal made what could have been a difficult and emotional conversation feel much more comfortable. At no point did it feel like a sales pitch—her compassion and authenticity truly stood out.
She created a welcoming and respectful environment where our questions were met with understanding and empathy. It made a world of difference, and we left feeling more at ease and informed. Thank you, Crystal, for your professionalism and heart.

Victor and Crystal have toured me and parents throughout this building which has been well designed for senior living along with seeming pleasant and comfortable. There are many amenities and services. As well, the Riverwalk is set up to age in place. Finally, there are flat walks along the river nearby as well as a Safeway right across the street.

My mother and father have been living at Riverwalk Retirement Residence for the past 6 months, and it has far exceeded every expectation I had. The building itself is absolutely beautiful! It was thoughtfully designed, is filled with stunning artwork, and is surrounded by everything they could possibly need within walking distance.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and high-end. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. It’s clear that they care deeply about the people who live and work there, and it shows in every detail.
As a daughter, there’s nothing more reassuring than seeing your parents in a place where they are safe, supported, and surrounded by beauty and dignity. Riverwalk has truly set a new standard for what a retirement residence can be.

I had the privilege of staying at Riverwalk in a guest suite. I was visiting a friend for 2 nights. All of the staff were professional and kind. The dining room had an excellent selection of delicious food. The location has everything a person would need. Great shops, restaurants, and the river for evening strolls.

Riverwalk is simply the most amazing independent, assisted, and memory care facility I have visited. My mother is living in Lethbridge and I have been trying to get her to move to Calgary, to Riverwalk. I’ve had the opportunity to liaise with JoLynn and she has been so knowledgeable about aging parents. The location of Riverwalk is absolutely perfect for a senior, with so many places close by to explore or to keep a daily routine of getting out and about with such a variety of stores, restaurants, parks etc within a safe distance. The facility is stunning. I suspect this place will fill up soon with an ongoing long waiting list once it becomes well known.
