I had the pleasure of visiting StoneMount to present a Falls Prevention Workshop, and I was genuinely impressed. I’ve done many workshops across Ottawa, and I can honestly say StoneMount is one of the best. The building itself is absolutely beautiful, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the residents were so engaged and full of positive energy. The whole community just felt happy and uplifting, truly a great place to call home. I highly recommend Stonemont!

I moved to Stonemont at the end of June 2025 to independent living. I have been a widow for over 5 years and found living and having meals alone very lonely. Since my move to Stonemont, I no longer have dinner alone and enjoy balanced and flavorful dinners. I have made new friends and my days are filled with activities. I am happy with my decision and have no regrets regarding my move.

5 stars. My mom recently moved into Stonemount on the Park, and she absolutely loves it! The modern facilities are stunning, creating a warm and welcoming environment that feels like home. She can’t stop raving about the delicious food, which is a huge highlight for her. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure every resident feels cared for and valued. Knowing my mom is safe, happy, and well taken care of brings our family so much peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for her to thrive. We absolutely love Stonemont Retirement Living. Since my mother-in-law moved in, she’s received exceptional care—but more importantly, she’s found a vibrant and welcoming community. It honestly feels like she’s getting younger! She's far more active now, has made so many new friends, and truly seems to be thriving. Her entire outlook on life has changed for the better.
One of the things we especially appreciate is that Stonemont is a bilingual community, which has made it even easier for her to feel at home and connect with others. It brings us so much peace and joy to know she's spending her days surrounded by great people in a place that genuinely feels like home. We’re so thankful she found Stonemont!

My mother and I moved here at the same time, each with our own unit, side by side. I needed to modify my kitchen for accessibility reasons, and they shared the cost for repairs with us. Staff are kind and helpful.

This is a great facility for your loved ones. I guarantee you, when your loved ones live here, you can go to sleep. Very organized, food is great, there is a doctor and nurse on site. There is a lab for blood draw, and I am very impressed. The kitchen staff are so nice, and the Executive Director, Francine, is also very nice, helpful, and shows lots of interest in residents. Will strongly recommend this facility.

The staff are friendly, fully bilingual, attentive, and beyond accommodating. The activities are great and the outdoor space is perfect. Shuttles weekly for grocery shopping, pool, hockey outings, and happy hour Fridays! Having my father here is a huge peace of mind and gets him back to being social.

My 93-year-old mother is very happy living here at Stonemont on the Park. She’s incredibly active and never seems to have a dull moment. She has connected with some wonderful people and spends time with her friends in the Bistro area, where the residents can grab a juice or a coffee. She enjoys exercise classes, bingo, knit/crochet time, euchre, and of course, Happy Hour every Friday. The prices are not outrageous when you consider all that’s included.

Best retirement community in Ottawa right now, hands down. My grandparents love it there. The food is amazing, and they love the activities (look at their Facebook and form your own impressions). By the way, they offer independent living and assisted living options. Their pricing is competitive for both.
