These past 4.6 years have been exactly what I wanted for my Mom, which is to ONLY worry about what to wear! She has made many friends, which is so wonderful! She always says that " We are like Family." She is so fond of all the staff members, as well as all the nurses, too! One of her favourite things to do there is BINGO!! I am happy that she is so well taken care of at Sorrento!
My mom continues to enjoy living there. I myself have seen many changes, including staff changes. Knowing people who have worked there and also many residents, they have the same concern, which is mainly the food. There have been chefs there who have provided the residents with great nutritious food, and others not as healthy for our loved ones that live there and pay a lot for it. I myself used to enjoy dining there, but honestly, the price for guests has risen a lot since the opening. Other than that, it truly is a beautiful place for the residents! With more and more people moving in, my mom has made many more friends

We recently helped a good friend move to Sorrento Retirement Residence. What a fantastic place if you are of Italian origin. All the staff are friendly and accommodating, and they all went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I have to particularly mention Paula Sudano, who gave us a comprehensive tour of the facility and helped us navigate the intricacies of completing the admission forms. Yesterday was moving day, and she brought champagne to toast our friend’s admission. I know that our friend will enjoy the rest of his years there.

My mom spent 1 month respite in Sorrento Retirement Residence while we were away on holidays, we kept in touch with her and she was having such a great time, all the staff are wonderful and welcoming. Upon our return she decided she wanted to stay, she said, "it has changed her life", she loves the beautiful residence and she loves all the social activities. Paola, who helped us with signing her up for respite has been so kind and helpful making the transition into permanent residency so easy. I am so happy knowing she is living each day amongst staff who welcomes her like family, and has a new social life with new friends. The residence is so beautiful and elegant, you feel like you're in a five star resort. Thank you all the staff at Sorrento Residence, your hard work and dedication is so greatly appreciated.

My mom’s recent move to Sorrento Retirement Residence has been an extremely positive experience. The facilities are top notch both in terms of quality and maintenance, the food service has more than exceeded our expectations, in-house services and activities are comprehensive and well managed, and all of the staff have been kind and responsive to my mother’s needs and any requests we might have. We are extremely impressed with the staff’s genuine interest in my mom’s well being and I am very comfortable knowing all of her needs are being met. The transition to living at Sorrento has been a very positive move for my mom and we are extremely pleased with, and grateful to the staff for improving her quality of life.

To the entire staff at Sorrento, What a wonderful day! My mother hosted a family dinner in your private dining room to celebrate our daughter’s wedding.
Everything was perfect. The chef prepared an excellent meal which we all enjoyed. Alberto and the staff took care of all our needs, from pouring the champagne, cutting the wedding cake and seeing to our every need with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble.
My family and I wanted you to know how pleased and happy we all are with your wonderful staff and the amazing service we received. It made us all very happy, especially my mom. She will never forget that day.

What an incredible place. Alberto helped plan my mother's 95th birthday at the home of which we had 16 kids all under 12. The associates went far beyond what was expected. They planned the menu with me. It was excellent. My mom is so happy here and so are all of us. They treat everyone there like their family.

Sorrento Residences is a wonderful environment. We had to transition our parents as they could no longer take care of their health meals & home. From the first interaction we had my brother and I were very impressed not only with the home but with the team. They’ve been there for 2 months and all I can say is that the entire team have genuine care for these Seniors. They truly create a family feel and treat them like their own parents. They deeply care and do a wonderful job in accommodating different needs. Thank you to the team this is truly peace of mind knowing we have great support at Sorrento!

I can’t explain how serene this place is… my nonna moved in a few months back. Staff is quick to respond, patient, and you truly feel like you and your loved one is part of a family. I have only good things to say about this retirement home. Keeps my nonna feeling independent and joyful.

We checked mom and dad in because they were having trouble preparing meals and generally taking care of their home and health. All the staff have exceeded our every expectation. They are attentive, genuine, patient, and have often gone way beyond the call. I make it a point to share dinner on Thursdays when the pizza oven is fired up.

I have lived in five retirement homes this was by far the best for rooms, food and staff. Not set up for assistive living though only independent. I miss this place greatly. ... Food is first rate.

Sorrento is an absolutely wonderful facility. My Mother recently moved in there and is loving it so far. Everything from the food, to the service, to the amenities is top notch and what you'd expect from a five star resort. From the first phone call to stepping in the door, you are greeted by Pat, Sorrento's concierge whose warm welcome sets the tone for the five star service you can expect here. My family and I can rest assured that my Mother is happy and comfortable at Sorrento.

It has a very friendly and professional environment. The staff is exceptional and well informed, they are very helpful and well mannered. The European design gives it more of a resort feel instead of a retirement facility. It's a great palace to live!
