We were lucky enough to attend the High Tea Party that was provided by Ashley Williams and her team at Parkland. The staff at Parkland are always offering enjoyable entertainment and activities for the residents, but this event was truly special. The vintage teacups, teapots, delicious sandwiches, and treats brought back treasured memories, as high tea was something that my family really enjoyed but rarely experienced. The live violin music was an extra bonus and added to the ambiance. It was an afternoon to chat with friends and meet new people in such an elegant setting. We appreciate that this was all provided without any additional charge. Thank you to Ashley and her team, who went that extra mile to create a wonderful experience.

I was invited to give a presentation at Parkland Ajax in January 2026. The audience was welcoming, engaged, and so many asked thoughtful questions! The facility is beautiful and comfortable, and residents have a lot of options for recreation and socialization. Highly recommend for independent active seniors looking to downsize and be part of a wonderful community.

Having visited several times with my sister (a resident at Parkland Ajax), I decided to make the transition myself. During the first months of residence, I was skeptical of my choice to move and whether or not I had made the right decision. However, I soon came to enjoy the courteous welcome and prompt assistance provided by staff, house-keepers and dining room staff, and often on a first-name basis.
Meals are provided by friendly servers, with a variety of selections and adjusted to suit the customer. Young and new part-time working college students are quickly trained to become efficient servers. I personally, with limited participation at the multitude of available events, have much enjoyed the opportunity to meet and interact with several friendly resident acquaintances on a first-name basis and in a family-style environment. That, together with the kindly interaction of caring staff, I consider myself to be well taken care of. I find comfort going forward, with the staff's five-star assistance, confident I have made the correct choice.

Parkland Ajax is a beautiful residence and has every amenity you can think of. Their caring staff is what sets them apart. Lisa, Ashley & Eloisa from the management team are thoughtful, caring, and compassionate.

Came for a tour and everyone was friendly, the community was lively with recreational activities running, and the food was amazing!
Also attended the holiday market and loved all the vendors, atmosphere, and entertainment! Everyone was so friendly, and I got a ton of Christmas presents that day.

The Rotary Club of Ajax has been having our weekly lunch meetings at the Ajax location of Parkland for approximately 18 months. We have been consistently pleased with the quality and quantity of food we are provided, all at a reasonable cost.
However, I am specifically writing this review in connection with our recent Christmas celebration. Many of our 40 or so attendees commented positively on the turkey dinner (with all the fixings) we enjoyed, as well as the service provided to us by Parkland staff. Having personally attended this event, I can add my endorsement as well. We wish to convey to all at Parkland our thanks for a job well done.

Late last year, I looked at moving my 86-year-old mother from Mississauga to Ajax so she could be closer to me. She had been recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and she wanted her independence but needed to have me near to help her. We were recommended locally by friends and work colleagues to visit Parkland in Ajax. I am eternally grateful for this referral.
My husband and I met with Renee on a Sunday last October, and she showed us multiple options for my mom to consider. I was incredibly impressed with how organized they are at Parkland, how beautiful the environment is, and the full range of services. I also found the pricing to be very competitive and reasonable based on what options we were considering. We moved my mom's possessions in later in November, and it was easy and seamless. As my mom was in treatment at the time for cancer, we were provided with referrals to moving companies to assist me in the process. One of the other residents shared with me how easy it was with "Move Seniors Lovingly" in Durham, and they were amazing to deal with. They worked closely with Parkland to coordinate the move, and it was so easy and effortless for me as my mom's caregiver.
My mom "officially" lived in Parkland from December to late March, when sadly she passed away. But during the time she was there, it was magical. Everyone was so friendly and kind and could not do enough to help my mom or even me, as her caregiver. Lisa Benjamin, the General Manager, has created a culture at Parkland that is all about the residents and their experience and well-being. It is extraordinary.
There is so much happening at Parkland. All sorts of fun activities and events that residents can participate in. They have everything you could possibly want or need in a retirement community, as well as a wonderful team to support residents or families who may require PSWs or nursing needs. As my mother's condition deteriorated, the nursing team was incredible. My mom got to know some of the PSWs and loved having them visit. She was the happiest at Parkland that I had seen her since my father passed away in 2021. She felt safe, cared for, and LOVED the food and all the options she could take advantage of.
Just before she passed, she told me she wished she could live longer to really have time to enjoy everything about Parkland. My mother passed peacefully in her bed at Parkland. The entire team treated this moment with such dignity and grace, and I will never forget their kindness and empathy. Parkland Ajax and the team who work there made the most challenging 6 months of my life easy, pleasant, and happy. I only wish my mom were still here and still living at Parkland ... it is a very special place filled with special people who do care and do make a difference. I would recommend Parkland to anyone considering a retirement community. They will not disappoint.

I’m part of an external community group that uses Parkland Ajax’s common amenity space for senior events, and I absolutely love this retirement community. They truly understand what quality of life means, fostering an incredible culture for residents, staff, and families alike in this family-owned business. I recently toured Parkland Ajax for my grandmother and was truly impressed by the atmosphere, programs, food, staff, and management. Lisa Benjamin and her team are exceptional – kind, dedicated, and always putting the residents first. You can feel the warmth and care the moment you walk in the door. I've even brought my grandmother to some events, and she enjoyed them. While she's not quite ready for retirement living and prefers to stay in her home a little longer, when the time comes, we will definitely be moving her to Parkland Ajax. Keep up the amazing work, team!

Finding the right care for our parents, one with dementia, was not easy, but this retirement home has exceeded every expectation. Unlike typical long-term care (LTC) facilities, this place feels warm, inviting, and serene—more like a retreat than a care home.
The attention to detail in the environment, activities, and overall design shows just how thoughtfully everything has been planned to provide comfort and dignity for my parents.
Retirement living is private-pay, but the level of service and amenities justifies every penny. For people like me who cannot care for their parents at home, this truly feels like the next best thing.
The food is exceptional—nutritious, fresh, and genuinely enjoyable—and the activities are thoughtfully designed to engage and enrich the lives of the residents. The staff are compassionate, patient, and skilled, creating an environment where we feel confident that our parents are in the best possible hands.
I would highly recommend Parkland. My experience has been nothing but positive, with compassion, transparency, and thoughtfulness shown throughout this significant transition in my parents’ lives—and, quite frankly, in my family’s life as well. Kudos to Lisa Benjamin and her exceptional team!

I have first-hand knowledge of how other residences manage their homes. This place is exceptional. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and welcomed my loved one and made sure the process of moving in was smooth and easy. The food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is as well. The residents seem very happy here and the suites and common areas are beautiful. It has easy access to many amenities in the neighbourhood. There are numerous activities as well, and very helpful caring staff!

Amazing retirement residence with lots of amenities right inside the complex. They care about the resident's welfare and safety and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The place seems more like a luxury hotel than a retirement home. You can have peace of mind having an elderly family member staying here.
