I have just moved my mother to Forestview, initially on an assisted living program following a hip replacement and then to independent living. Diana was amazing to deal with, and so is everyone else who works there. Mom is loving it, and everybody is extremely friendly.

I can’t say enough about Forestview! The staff goes above and beyond in terms of care. The staff is warm, friendly, and approachable, and resident safety is a top priority. The suites are comfortable, the food is good, and the activities, outings and special events make this place feel like “home.” This is a great place, and I would highly recommend it.

We stayed at Forrestview for a month while our home was being renovated, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Leading up to our stay, we were both quite anxious about the change, but within just a few days, we felt comfortable and at home. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the other residents quickly made us feel part of the community.
We especially enjoyed the social atmosphere — there was always something to do, from organized activities to casual chats in the common areas. The outdoor spaces were lovely for walks, and the environment overall felt calm, safe, and inclusive. We appreciated that Forrestview embraces people of all spiritual backgrounds, creating a truly diverse and respectful community.
The food was... well-balanced and nourishing, and the maintenance staff were quick to fix any small issues that came up. Everyone we met was kind and attentive, and that made all the difference.
We left feeling grateful for the care and thoughtfulness we experienced throughout our stay. Should we ever need to move out of our home permanently, Forrestview would be at the top of our list.

The staff managers at Forestview, especially Diana, Dulce, and Azam, have been nothing short of phenomenal in helping my father to feel at home, happy, and safe in his new retirement home. This is new for us all and my family and I could not be more grateful for the kindness and care all the staff at Forestview have demonstrated in getting my Dad settled. The building and surrounding landscape is clean and beautiful, and I feel I made the right decision for my parent with Forestview.

I was looking for an Assisted Living residence for my mom—somewhere she would feel completely at home and be surrounded by kind, caring, and knowledgeable people. I contacted several places, but the only one that responded right away was Forestview Retirement Residence, thanks to their marketing manager, Lawanya Adsul.
Lawanya patiently answered all my questions and addressed every concern through emails, phone calls, and later in person. Her support and responsiveness were truly invaluable during this important decision.
My mom moved into a beautiful, spacious apartment at Forestview about two months ago, and it has proven to be an excellent decision. She is very happy there, surrounded by attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring staff who check on all residents multiple times a day.
Since I don’t live in Canada, it’s especially important for me to have open and reliable communication with those caring for her—and the Forestview team has been exceptional in responding promptly to my phone calls and emails.
I’m very happy with our decision to place my mom at Forestview. It gives me great peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and compassionate hands.

My mother moved in three weeks ago into the Assisted Living section on the second floor. I am very grateful for the warm, professional, and caring environment at Forestview. The staff have been incredibly attentive and supportive of my mom's needs. When my mom first arrived there was a large welcome sign with her name at the reception, the staff came over to introduce themselves, the room was meticulously cleaned, everything worked as expected, and there was even a small gift waiting for her. I am extremely happy to have Mom in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. As well, dinner choices were so appetizing that my dad now comes over to dine with Mom on most evenings.

Our father (93) stayed at Assisted Care Living at Forestview for several months. The staff was caring and dedicated to our father's needs. His room was spacious, and the food was plentiful. He tried to participate in the music and exercise programs provided. The management and service staff were friendly and attentive overall. Our family was happy that our father was able to experience living at Forestview Retirement Residence.

Forestview Retirement Residence is definitely seniors best choice to settle down. It is nestled within a forest located in the center of North York. Surrounded by green trees, bushes and flowers. Birds and squirrels are your good companions. The environment is quiet, peaceful, and well-maintained. From the General Manager all the way down to the frontline regular staff are all very approachable, professional, well-trained, dedicated, and friendly. The residents' daily life is thoroughly enriched by a variety of activities. Strongly recommend.

Our elderly mother recently received respite care at Forestview, after being discharged from hospital. We were very impressed with the knowledgeable, caring staff and wide variety of excellent programming. The food was excellent and the building and grounds are beautifully maintained. Mom really improved during her stay at Forestview and we would highly recommend it.

Forestview Retirement Residence is an excellent choice for seniors looking for a comfortable place to settle down. The team members are truly amazing - they're always happy to help and incredibly dedicated to ensuring every resident feels comfortable and well-cared for. I have been a resident at Forestview for one year. Nestled within a forest setting in the heart of North York, with beautiful birds entertaining you from May to November. There are excellent daily programs, including many forms of exercises, integrated with Yoga, Zumba etc. Various board games in the library with instructors, if needed. Rummikub, Bridge, Scrabble, and challenging puzzles, and many more games are offered. Monthly social events including live entertainment. Outing to malls, restaurants, historic sites, museums, etc. Religious services weekly. Friday: Shabbos service. Saturday: Nondenominational Christian services. Sunday: Catholic service. If you prefer peace and quiet, if you want an active lifestyle, it is all here for you. Looking forward to meeting you.

I'm particularly impressed with the overall services: dining, care attention, activities, and facilities. All management and service staff are warm, dedicated, and compassionate. I intend to age in place here.

Forestview Retirement Residence has been excellent from the very first phone call! My elderly dad fell and needed temporary care, which Forestview offered. A respite suite was immediately set up for him, and we were welcomed by name by the staff as we walked through the doors. The accommodations are clean and spacious. The food, offered both in the dining room and in my dad's room, is delicious. The extra care provided for my dad is gentle, sensitive and personal. He feels very cared for, which makes us, his adult kids, feel relieved that he is attended to respectfully. From the General Manager all the way down to the helpers, including social workers, dining room attendants, maintenance and all other administrators, we continue to be treated with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. I am SO GRATEFUL to have found Forestview Retirement, and highly recommend it to anyone who needs extra care for their elderly loved ones.

My late husband and I chose Forestview as we thought this is the best one after visiting a lot of places. Living here for 5 years now, I can say that Forestview is a nice and a friendly environment. The view of the grounds is beautiful, quiet, well paved and with lots of beautiful birds on the trees. The staff are very approachable, personable and if they're new, they always take the time to know us by name. There's lots of activities to promote our brain health and to really help preserve both our physical and cognitive abilities.

Forestview is very honest about their pricing, and very prompt and frequent with their communication. My mom lived on the assisted living floor for a short time before she died. Apart from one person working the front desk, everyone (at least 2 dozen staff) I encountered working there was friendly, caring, kind, loving and approachable. My mom needed a private PSW to stay with her that we hired from outside Forestview. There were 5 different PSWs that we brought in to help my mom, and every single one of them said Forestview was the nicest home they had ever worked in. The nurses (especially Marites) and PSWs (especially Bibiana), and dining staff at Forestview are extremely hard working and they treat the residents like they are their own family. The sales team and management team are honest and helpful. If they don't know the answer to a question, they find out for you. Parking is easy and free. The residence is secure and safe.

Our mother moved onto the assisted care floor 3 months ago and we are very pleased. She moved from a good independent living retirement home. Anna, the Wellness Director, has been open and responsive to dialogue and has done things to improve our mother’s physical and mental well-being. The doctor, who is on-site once per week, has been a good listener and has helped as well. The staff response times and the integration with LIHN workers have been great. The staff all seem to know her name and have encouraged her to participate in many activities. Forestview has lovely grounds and is tucked in a quiet corner that you don’t even know you are in busy Toronto. We are happy with this move and the friendly and caring environment at Forestview

My father recently moved in to Forestview and we are very pleased so far. His apartment is beautiful, the food is great, and the staff are lovely. My mom is still in rehab recovering from surgery, but is eagerly awaiting her move-in. Carolina from Forestview often sends her care packages, which are much appreciated!
