This building in the heart of Toronto is optimal for seniors who want to enjoy the finest senior living in a friendly, happy community. Since New Horizons is a charitable organization, costs are reasonable in spite of its premium location, the beautiful building, and the exemplary care given. Built over 40 years ago, it has undergone several recent renewals and improvements. It's the best of all possible worlds, combining rich experience in senior living and care with contemporary accessibility design and building amenities, in the heart of this world-class city.

Delmanor Prince Edward is well-appointed, prestigious senior living. This mid-rise tower on Dundas West creates a singularly vibrant community where residents can pamper themselves in the salon weekly, sit in on movie events in the main floor theatre, or keep up with classes in the fitness centre. People who move here find revival in the spectacular environs.

My sister had a very enjoyable stay at NHT for 7+ years under the care of the Terrace staff, who had been attentive, responsive, friendly, and caring. Her needs were well attended to, and I highly recommend NHT for both retirement or assisted living. It's a nice building, with good facilities, friendly staff, and extensive recreation programs! Excellent neighbourhood with great public transit, everything within walking distance....what more can one ask for?

Both my adopted mother and father were residents, first in their own unit, going down to the dining room for meals, which were always balanced and varied, then later, my father was in Assisted Living until he passed at 103. Here he had a nurse's team who supported his every need and whim, always with a smile—along with weekly visits from a competent doctor—all of whom were very communicative with me. Staff throughout the residences were very personable and helpful. There are constant activities and special outside trips for every taste, promoting social, brain, physical, and emotional health. New Horizons Tower was a godsend for me, as I live 3 hours from Toronto; I felt my parents were safe and happy here.

Our mother had more than seven happy years of her life at New Horizons Tower before passing away in August. We have only good things to say about the facilities, programs, and, particularly, the compassionate and attentive care she received from staff. As she came to be in her last months and days on the memory care floor (the Oasis), the staff made sure that we also received that same compassion. These are people who are both trained and inclined to meet the needs of residents (and family) no matter where and how they are. We have no hesitation in recommending New Horizons to others.

My mom was loved and well cared for there. Thanks again to Robin and all the staff at NHT. You were HOME to my mom for the past two years.

Our mother moved in a couple of years ago... New Horizons has turned out to be an amazing place for our mom. She's on the 3rd floor for "memory residents" where she gets friendly and attentive care. The staff are absolutely amazing! They have our mother dressed nicely and always looking her best. They engage her in her favourite game (Scrabble) which she still wins regularly! New Horizons is super-clean, well-organized, and always cheerful. We're very lucky our mother is so happy there.

A beautifully maintained retirement residence in the heart of Etobicoke. We've assisted clients with moves here, and the experience has always been smooth and well-organized. The staff is welcoming and professional, and the building offers top-tier amenities in a serene setting.

Wanted to thank Paula for the recent tour. She answered all my questions about retirement and gave a great tour as well. I would recommend this building to any families looking for retirement in Etobicoke.

Delmanor Prince Edward has been a wonderful retirement residence and home to our dear mother for nearly a decade. We have been treated like family since she moved there in 2014. Mom passed away recently, and I am eternally grateful to all of the staff at Delmanor for the kindness and care that Mom received - particularly in recent years as her health began to decline. The staff was always cheerful, attentive, and friendly, and I always felt that our Mom was truly cherished.

Delmanor Prince Edward is an exceptional retirement residence, distinguished by its genuinely kind, compassionate and caring staff. For the past two years, my 92-year-old mom and I have been treated like family … I am eternally grateful to Karen, Julie, Joven, Princess, Sherri, Isabell, Lori, Grace, and the rest of the staff at Delmanor! They go above and beyond each day to brighten the lives of those in their care.

I am very happy to be here at Delmanor. It is the best move I could have made. The residents are so friendly, and the staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. My suite is sunny and comfortable, and the meals are great. I enjoy the roof for my daily walk, and the back patio is beautiful. I look forward to each day.

Many residents touring and moving to NHT are living independently; driving, travelling, shopping and cooking. No matter how independent you are, we recognize that any move is a big deal! Our Marketing Manager is here to guide you through the touring, application and moving process and can recommend additional resources.

We anticipate new resident concerns with introductions and orientations to your community and fellow residents.

What we most often hear after someone moves is how warm and welcoming their neighbours are! Residents have formed their own committee with the goal of welcoming and orienting new residents to NHT.

While the majority of residents are choosing New Horizons Tower for an independent lifestyle we do have additional services and supports that can be offered in your independent suite. Residents also have the choice to bring in outside supports instead if they wish.

Should residents benefit from a higher care environment there are two assisted living floors with dedicated 24 hour staffing, dining, exercise groups and programming on our Terrace (Assisted/LTC Living) and Oasis (Memory Care) floors.
