When we opened in 2001, we were one of Langley's very first retirement living communities. Because of this, we have a very strong reputation—everyone knows Magnolia Gardens, and everyone knows someone who has lived in Magnolia Gardens. Our staff team is widely respected and beloved. We're known as a warm, welcoming and caring community. We are honoured to be a pillar in the community of Langley.

Our team is always available to assist with settling in, whether it’s navigating the building, joining activities, or understanding available services. The one-floor layout with wide hallways and elevators makes moving around easy and stress-free.
Families appreciate the calm, modern environment and flexible services like housekeeping, transportation, and wellness support. Bolivar Creek offers a smooth, comfortable transition into retirement living where independence and peace of mind come first.
Moving to a new community can be challenging, and we have an intentional process to help residents adapt to their new home. Meeting the Managers face to face is a key aspect of this process. Also, new residents are connected with a resident ambassador who visits with them, helps them get to know the lay of the land, and introduces them to new people. Connecting with staff and residents help make the transition to your new home easier.

If a resident requires daily medical care, we assist with a smooth transition to a more suitable community.

While we offer flexible services and can accommodate outside care providers, but if a resident’s needs exceed what we can safely support, our team helps guide families through a smooth transition and can refer them to other Park Place communities that offer assisted living or long-term care. Seniors seeking clinical oversight may find better alignment at those locations.

Often new residents are surprised at how quickly they become part of the Magnolia Gardens family. Our staff work hard to get to know residents even on their first day so they can greet them by name. New in 2025 – Bolivar Creek is a brand-new retirement community built for independent seniors seeking comfort and connection.
Five-Story Design – Though five stories tall, all resident amenities are located on one accessible floor for ease of movement.
Suite Variety – Offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites with flexible service options to match individual lifestyles.
Transit-Friendly Location – Located near 132 Street and 108 Avenue in Surrey, BC, close to Gateway SkyTrain Station.
Part of Park Place – Backed by a trusted network of senior communities across Canada, offering continuity and support.
1. We feature 115 independent living apartments in addition to a 40-suite Care Centre, so we can offer a continuum of care to seniors as their care needs change.
2. Living car-free is easy! We have a courtesy shuttle for personal trips in the area. Our 18-passenger bus goes out for trips 2-3 times a week. We're conveniently located close to shops, services and civic amenities.
3. Our food is made fresh in-house daily, and our culinary team is led by a red seal certified Executive Chef.
4. Our apartments are open-concept with large living room windows that allow you to sit in your chair and enjoy the views.
5. Your voice matters to us. You have an open door to our General Manager to share feedback, concerns and questions.
