What makes AMICA Taunton unique from all others is our team members. Our Memory Care team members are all completely certified in dementia care with special training in Gentle Persuasion.
In addition, only AMICA Taunton follows a Flex-Care Staffing Module. Bi-weekly, we review how much care we are providing to our residents, then adjust our staffing levels to ensure our residents are receiving premium care.
We have strong sense of community and have been in Courtice since 1999. Many of our residents come from the community. This is their neighbourhood.

We recognize that moving into a retirement residence can be overwhelming and scary. Our amazing team is available to help with the transition 24/7, including a 24hr Concierge, offering emotional support when needed. Trial stays are also an option.
We offer 3 lifestyle options: Independent Living, Independent Living with supports and Assisted Living. Our optional services menu offers supportive living options that allow our residents to age in place comfortably.

At AMICA Taunton, we support every person throughout their life as they age-in-place. Our wellness team is here to support, whether a it's a temporary need or an ongoing one. Residents can easily transition from Independent Living to Assisted Living or Memory Care, smoothly. We've designed each floor to "feel" the same so that transitions feel natural and familiar.
At White Cliffe Terrace, many residents begin in independent living and continue to receive support as their needs evolve. We offer both independent living, independent supportive living and assisted living, with services that can increase over time, including 24-hour nursing care and assistance with daily activities. Residents can remain in familiar surroundings while receiving the level of care that ideally supports their wellbeing.
