I recently moved my mother from Toronto to Stoney Creek, and on move-in day, I was completely overwhelmed. From start to finish, the staff showed patience, kindness, understanding, and genuine care. The food is above average, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. What began as a very stressful experience has turned into one filled with gratitude and true peace of mind. She is truly thankful to be there, and I am so incredibly grateful to all the amazing staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had a lovely visit with Carly last week. When I first called, she was there to listen to our family issues, and allow me to share information about my Nanny. She took her time in asking what mattered to me and my family when looking at places. This was unlike many other places I had chatted with. I could tell she truly cared about us. When I came to tour the facility I was welcomed by a lovely younger lady who offered me fresh cucumber water! Wowzers! When meeting with Carly, I could feel the sense of relief come over me as she listened to my concerns. I was a bag of nerves and tears, and she made me feel so safe and comfortable. We then took a tour of their Assisted Living and Memory Care floor, where I was introduced to many staff and residents along the way. She even introduced me to another lady who was similar to my Nanny. The place was beautiful, and clean, and everyone looked so happy. Carly even gave me a hug and told me she is here for my family anytime I need her. We will be moving my Nan in as soon as a suite opens up. Thank you Carly, to you and your team who created a wonderful place for many people to call home! You truly were a godsend during this time and took away more stress and worry than you’ll ever know.

My mom just moved in... Amica is a beautiful retirement home with tons of activities, the food is above average, the service is excellent, the staff really cares and it’s got everything a senior needs and more!

Nice place. Visited my grandparents, and we had dinner.

My 90-year-old mom needed a respite stay after minor surgery over the holidays. With next to no time and being very picky, I reached out to Parkland..specifically Laurie. Their attention to detail, concerns, and kindness were amazing. She stayed for a month and was treated with respect and kindness while she had time to heal in a safe and happy environment. Her room was modern, clean, and easy to manage. She enjoyed the food and, once more mobile, went to meals and enjoyed the selections. I’m thankful to have had such a lovely experience for my mom.

Parkland Ancaster is a well-designed space that thoughtfully accommodates different levels of lifestyle and care needs. During the process of moving our mum in, the communication, responsiveness, and attention we received were excellent and reassuring. Unfortunately, after she moved in, that level of communication dropped off. ... Overall, the space itself is lovely, but I’m sharing this so others can adjust expectations.

Parkland is absolutely beautiful! They cover every base, and it is a luxurious environment that feels like a resort. Laurie Meyer assisted us with a tour and answered all of our questions. She is so friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. Her energy was warm and incredibly welcoming. We are so grateful!!
