The process was very easy. Everyone within the community itself went above and beyond to assist. My husband had inquired about a place there much earlier, and they waited for my mother based on her timelines and made it totally accessible to us. So that was very positive.

I feel that there’s a sense of community from the moment you enter the door, and that is of primary importance. People are welcoming and cordial and go out of their way to help you at any level, regardless of their position.

My life has changed dramatically, given the distance that I mentioned previously. It makes me feel comfortable knowing that she’s in a safe, secure place with amazing people. So it’s been totally positive.

She has settled in tremendously well. She likes that there’s access to services 24/7. She’s comfortable in her surroundings, and she’s made her place like a small home. So that’s been amazing to see.

She started out by going once a week to the Osteo Fit. That’s become more challenging for her now because she has a walker. But she adores going to listen to all the music that they present with singers and musicians. She also enjoys spending time with other people in the community.

I would say that the level of support is and always was of importance to us. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10, I would say it was definitely a 10. These people go out of their way. They’re incredible. They are always smiling and willing to assist. They’re at the ready 24/7, which is really impressive.

I would definitely tell others that if they’re going through the same transition, which is a difficult one, that this is the place to be. You don’t really want for anything. It’s all there and ever-present. As I said before, highest marks for the people that work there, and the community is very happy. People reach out.

No, I have to say I haven’t. You can always anticipate that you’re needing something at one level or another, but this has not been the case for my mother.

Nothing. I don’t think I would do anything differently. We were able to facilitate everything in a smooth manner, and the transition was very easy for my mother.

I think that initial impressions are critical, and based on what I saw and what I’ve seen, everything is genuine and forthcoming. I would tell people to relax and allow the process to take place. You just need to know that you’re in good hands and that everybody is on board willing to help and assist in any way they can.
