My brother has been a resident of Greenview for six weeks, and my experience has been that the staff and management made the transition easy and welcoming. The moderate size of the residence gives Greenview a personal feel, and the care staff has been pleasant and helpful. The building itself is freshly renovated, clean, and very attractive. My brother has thanked us for finding Greenview for him, and we feel fortunate that they had a space available almost immediately.

We are very fortunate to have been able to find a caring place for my mother, who suffers from dementia. The staff on her floor, from day 1, have made my mother feel at home, have taken the time to get to know her, know what she’s all about, they have been wonderful and continue to take care of her needs. The reception staff have also taken the time to get to know her and acknowledge her every time she heads to the dining room. I know that she is treated well and looked after! Our family had to make a difficult decision about where to place my father, and we were so fortunate to find Greenview Lodge. From the moment he arrived, the warmth and dedication of the staff were clear. Everyone—from the general manager, Lifestyles team, Care team manager, nurses, PSWs, and volunteers—treated him with kindness and respect. The facility was always clean, he was well-fed, comfortable, and included in activities whenever possible. Even within the first week, we could see he felt safe and cared for, which meant the world to us.
A special thanks to the kitchen staff, who not only prepared meals with care but also reassured me on the first day when they saw I felt nervous. Their kindness truly set the tone for everything that followed. The reception team was always so warm and welcoming, and ready to help answer any questions. Greenview doesn’t just feel like a senior residence—it feels like a home. We are beyond grateful for the compassion, patience, and dedication of everyone here. Greenview Seniors Residence was my mom’s home for 2 1/2 years. Every facet of staffing provided excellent and compassionate care. Mom was involved in many of the activities the energetic recreation coordinator provided, the meals were appetizing, the housekeeping staff cheerfully interacted with the residents as they carried out their cleaning, nursing care ensured mom’s health was well monitored and above all, the PSWs lovingly tended to all of mom’s needs as she was not able to do much for herself. I always rested easy knowing my mom was in good hands. Greenview provided end-of-life care for my mom and for this I am eternally grateful.

The care is superb at Greenview. Everyone knows the patient and cares about the whole family. The place is very clean and runs efficiently. There are no gaps in the excellence of care or chain of command.
All of the staff is excellent but special mention should go to Barbara who is unbelievable in her efficiency. In our case, she did everything that needed to be done to transfer my husband from the hospital to Greenview in two days, and no detail was overlooked. The head of nursing is equally efficient, caring, and professional. The director’s warm, friendly, and highly professional leadership keeps the staff happy and the residents receiving first-class care.
Special mention should also go the reception desk staff for their helpful and welcoming manner, going out of their way to make Greenview a welcoming place. This is a very small, personal setting that is highly recommended.

My parents describe this place as being on a cruise every day. The staff here are OUTSTANDING and treat my parents like they are their own. They made the moving-in process easy, thorough and complete. It was like they were moving their own parents in. I can’t say enough about them. Bob, Barb, Ariel, and Gianne are now part of our family. My elderly aunt recently moved into Greenview after being in the hospital due to a stroke. Greenview is a family-like operation, Barb is nothing short of amazing at sorting out the details with the hospital staff, and the caregivers actually really care. In my aunt’s own words, this place is ‘heaven’!

I am thankful for the support the staff at Greenview have provided as my Dad has settled in. When I realized that my Dad needed more care than we could provide at home, I looked for a place that would treat him like family. The staff has shown my Dad the utmost care as he gets used to a new home and new level of care. They have ensured his safety and comfort. The home is clean and gets lots of natural light. He enjoys the food and the opportunity to socialize with other residents.The staff has also been supportive of all of us and made themselves available to answer any questions we have. My mother was resident at Greenview from 2019-21. It was a difficult time for most health care providers - covid made it difficult to find and retain staff and to continue to provide the best care. But Greenview was outstanding - not only did they maintain their high standards, but they did so with patience and humour... I would recommend them without hesitation.

I was faced with the task of having to arrange new housing for an elderly client who was declining rapidly, both physically and mentally, and who could no longer look after himself in his own home. The priority was to get him out of his house, where he was fading away, and into a retirement home setting... I was referred to the folks at Greenview Lodge. We had less than a week to arrange to get this gentleman from a hospital bed into his Greenview apartment including assessments, new clothing and bedding and furniture. The knowledge and help provided by the staff at Greenview were remarkable. Within little more than a week, Greenview had arranged for the medical assessments, all the paperwork, and the move-in to be completed. To say that this could not have happened without this caring group would be an understatement.

Greenview is a beautifully small residence, with long-term staff providing personal and loving care to the elderly residents. The food is true home-cooking with a fresh and local bent. The recreation staff run many kinds of enriching activities and continued to do so despite COVID. My family feels we were so lucky to have chosen Greenview where my mother happily and comfortably spent her last few years.

Greenview Seniors Residence came to our rescue with a care plan tailored specifically to our aunt’s needs. Since she has settled into her new home [she] has been encouraged to participate in numerous activities and has enjoyed each one. The staff, in every position, is caring, professional, encouraging, and joyful. Her medications are regulated and she loves the innovative and delicious meals.
Greenview has been the answer to our prayers. Our aunt’s mental and physical states have improved and there is no doubt in our minds it is because of the care she is receiving. We would not hesitate to recommend Greenview Seniors Residence to anyone who needs their services.

My Mother has been a resident of Greenview Lodge, now starting her 3rd year. The Lodge is a loving, caring environment for my Mom, who has Short Term Memory Impairment. I cannot say enough about the WONDERFUL staff, who go out of their way to make sure all are treated with love, care, dignity and respect. Units and common areas are kept immaculately clean and cozy … Before Covid, there were plenty of social activities to keep residents engaged and active. There is a front, gated social area, where residents can sit outside, enjoy social activities, bbq's, musicians and even assist with gardening, if interested. I have been at peace knowing my Mom is happy living at Greenview and being taken care of.
