Like a landlocked upscale cruise ship, Parkland on the Glen fills the needs of its passengers in keeping with their living requirements. All levels of care are available from independent condominium living to full 24/7 care. We live in a condo and are pretty much independent; however, the day may come when we need additional assistance. It’s all here if and when required.

Great activities for the community hosted by Grace Miksa. Lovely park-like setting with many nature trails, beautiful views, and easy access to many amenities. Highly recommend.

Living at Parkland on the Glen is just like living in a 5 Star Hotel with all the benefits, and a beautiful one-bedroom apartment. I am so happy here and the staff are so caring and friendly. It would be a long time to find a more beautiful place. Come and take a tour you won’t regret it.

There is such a nice feeling of community amongst all residents. My mother has made lifelong friends and feels like she has found an amazing place to call home. Parkland on the Glen is centrally located in Mississauga with proximity to malls, grocery, and Credit Valley Hospital..lots of walking trails to explore.

Erinview is a gem. My parents moved there once they both had some health issues and loved it! Even my Dad who was not on board and did not want to leave his house, was so happy there. In fact, he would tell me every time he saw me how grateful he was that I convinced him to move. My Dad had Parkinson's and cancer and needed more and more help, the staff was not only caring but also so kind and helpful. I knew he was in good hands when I was not there. My mom has Dementia, and this was so good for her as she had someone to do the cooking and cleaning, and she could not worry about that anymore. Tamara is a superstar, she was reassuring the first time I met her, and until the last time. When my Dad passed in the home, I felt the compassion and support of everyone, especially Justine and Allison. And as an only child, it was really amazing to have them be there for my Dad and me.

My mother has been at The Erinview for.over 3 years now and has found a second home. Thank you for all do for ma!!!

I recently stayed at Erinview for 5 1/2 weeks following cardiac surgery and was very satisfied with the experience. The support and kind attention given by the staff, as well as the great meals and comfort of a modern suite, were instrumental in my recovery from the surgery. I would recommend Erinview as an excellent choice for anyone who requires respite care.

Tamara and her team provide a home and customer service to the residents of Erinview that is second to none. An exceptionally high quality of life and supports are provided to the residents of this home. Tamara knows the value of keeping the "family" in "family business." These characteristics carry over into her dedication to the residents and her management style. Everyone is an equal at Erinview and this makes an enormous difference in the quality of life the residents enjoy. From the moment you walk in the front door, you are immediately at ease and feel at home. Small homes and teams really do it better.

Rental units located from floors 2 to 11 with a dedicated assisted floor located on the 3rd level. All rental units have functional kitchens. Condo rental units available with full kitchens. Chauffeur service available to take residents to medical appointments (Monday to Friday), area shopping malls(three times per week) and church service on Sunday. Parkland has a small footprint so our amenity space is easily accessible and the suites are closeby the elevators.

Erinview focuses on creating a retirement residence that feels welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely personal. We emphasize relationships, thoughtful service, and an environment where residents feel at home. We understand a move may be a bit overwhelming. Moreso, our residents understand the emotions attached with making a move. Our self-proclaimed 'Welcome Wagon Lady' greets all our residents and is available to answer any questions they may have from resident prespective. All residents are welcoming of a new resident as they were a new resident once themselves.
During the first week of arrival, our departmental managers meet with each new resident to assist them in familiarizing them with Parkland on the Glen from such things as how to work the thermostat to what types of dishes they may want to see on the menu. Afterall, Parkland is home.

CHARTWELL ERINVIEW

When residents move to Erinview, the focus is on helping them feel comfortable and supported from the beginning. Team members take time to learn residents’ routines and preferences so they can settle in at their own pace. Shared meals, fitness programs, and daily activities provide natural opportunities to meet neighbours and become part of the community.

PARKLAND ON THE GLEN

Parkland on the Glen offers a continuum of care with nursing services offered throughout the building or on our dedicated Assisted Living Floor. Our Assisted Living Floor does not support individuals with advanced dementia.
Parkland on the Glen has a dedicated Ontario Health atHome Case Manager who can assist new residents and current residents in receiving some care support. Parkland on the Glen also provides one-on-one and companionship care. There are some instances where residents have personal care givers and/or live-in support workers.
Every six months, our nursing team reaches out to residents to complete an assessment at which time residents share any updates in their health such as change in medications.

CHARTWELL ERINVIEW

If a resident’s needs change, Erinview works with residents and families to coordinate additional support. Options vary, including private home care services, respite stays, and palliative care support. Our goal is to help residents remain comfortable and supported while maintaining continuity in the community they call home.

PARKLAND ON THE GLEN

Individuals who have advanced cognitive decline would not be a good fit for Parkland on the Glen as our Assisted Living Floor is not geared towards dementia care. Parkland on the Glen do have some residents who have early stages and those who are progressing with a slow decline but they function normally in their day to day life here in the Parkland community.

CHARTWELL ERINVIEW

Someone looking for a very large residence with extensive resort-style amenities or a highly active, high-energy setting may prefer another community. Erinview is well suited to seniors who appreciate a comfortable, community-oriented environment.

PARKLAND ON THE GLEN

Residents are very involved in what happens at Parkland on the Glen. After all it is their home.
There is a Resident's Council, a Condo Board, a Harmony and Wellness Committee, a Food Committee, a Gardening Committee, a Book Club, a Glee Club and Parkland Players Theatre and Music Ensemble, just to name a few. In 2024, a Green Committee was formed.

People are often surprised by how quickly Erinview feels familiar and comfortable. While we offer contemporary amenities and thoughtful design, what often stands out for people is the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly connections that develop with other residents and the staff.

Parkland on the Glen's activities and programs are always changing as the profile of our residents change. It is important to us that the residents have a say in what is offered in our social programming, our menu options, etc.
We are currently undergoing a cosmetic change to our residential floors as we update the colour palette of the walls and flooring.

Over the next several years, Erinview will continue focusing on the qualities residents value most: comfort, community, and attentive service. Programming and wellness offerings will evolve with residents’ interests while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that defines the residence.

Parkland opened it's doors in April 2010. We have quite a few residents and staff members who have been with us since the beginning.
We have 194 units within our 21-storey building.
Parkland on the Glen has a small foot for easy accessibility to all the amenity space. Our residential floors have a maximum of 13 suites so everyone is close to the three elevators.
Our age range is late 60's to 99 years old.
