Cancer can be a challenge to treat, as tumours vary with genes, proteins and responses to treatment. University Professor Dr. Raymond Reilly will discuss research in the area of Nanomedicine and Molecular Radiotherapy. Nanomedicines can be used for targeted drug delivery, imaging, diagnosis, and to identify, replace and repair cells. They minimize the systemic effects caused by conventional treatments such as chemotherapy.
